Summer IFR Tour 2010

Welcome to IVAO Finland's first IFR-tour. This tour will start on 12th of June with the opening fly-in. During this fly-in we will provide you full ATC coverage for the first two legs between Helsinki-Vantaa (EFHK) and Rovaniemi (EFRO).

What is Summer IFR Tour 2010?

IFR and VFR Tour events in Ivao are organized by local Ivao divisions. Their goal is to introduce pilots to the airports and routes of the local area of the division. Pilots worldwide are allowed to participate in the Tour events of all divisions.

Each Tour has a dedicated list of flights that all pilots must fly to qualify for the "Disivion IFR Tour Award" badge to their user profile. All legs must be completed within certain time frame and with correct flight plans. You flights will be access automaticly by validator.

Summer IFR Tour 2010 - Rules

• 
  
All accepted legs must be flown between 1300 - 2100 UTC or during IVAO Finland's events. This means you must take off after 1300 UTC and land before 2100 UTC. The purpose of this rule is that we want to provide better ATC coverage and bring more traffic to our controllers.

• You must fly with real time (1x speed).
  
  
• All aircraft with speed under M1.00 are accepted. Make sure the airport is big enough for your aircraft, some of the tour airports have a runway shorter than 2,0 km.
  
  
• You may not pause during a flight.
  
  
• You must fly one whole flight at a time, you cannot stop your flight and continue later.
  
  
• Flight plans must be filled correctly and pilots must have charts on board. Charts and example flight plans will be available on this site, so there is no reason to fly without a correct flight plan or charts! Make sure you fill your departure and destination correctly.
  
• After landing pilot should be online at least 3 minutes (including taxi) that his flight will be logged to the system.
  
• Last day to complete legs is August 31th.
